Estimados miembros de la comunidad de La Escuela de Lancaster:
Ya se acerca la fecha para el lanzamiento de Fulcrum 31, “Moda y tendencias”. Habrá muchas actividades para todas las edades. Tendremos la exhibición de las obras de arte de los estudiantes que participaron en el concurso de dibujo convocado por la revista, la subasta de las obras, un desfile de modas, bazar, música en vivo, manualidades para los niños más pequeños, venta de alimentos y varias sorpresas más.
Con el ánimo de promover el consumo responsable y el cuidado de nuestro planeta, durante el lanzamiento tendremos instalada una Estación de trueque en la que podrá participar toda la comunidad. La idea es que cada quien lleve artículos en muy buen estado que ya no utilice y que los intercambie por artículos que lleven otros miembros de la comunidad. Los artículos aceptados en esta estación serán exclusivamente: ropa, libros y accesorios (joyería, anteojos, relojes). Por cada artículo los participantes recibirán una ficha que podrán intercambiar por otro artículo de su elección. Todo lo que ingrese a la estación de trueque y que nadie se lleve al final del evento será donado.
Los esperamos el miércoles 29 de marzo de 17:00 a 20:00 hrs. en el plantel de Diligencias.

Dear members of the Lancaster community,
The launch of Fulcrum 31, «Fashion and Trends,» is coming soon. We’ll have many activities for all ages, including an art exhibition with drawings by the students who participated in the magazine’s drawing competition, an auction of these drawings, a fashion show, a bazaar, live music, crafts for younger children, snack booths, and several other surprises.
In order to promote responsible consumption and continue taking care of our planet, we will set up a Swap Station during the launch where the entire community can participate. The idea is for everyone to bring items they no longer use and in very good condition and exchange them for items brought by other members of the community. The items we’ll be receiving at the Swap Station will be only: clothing, books, and accessories (jewelry, glasses, watches). For each item, participants will receive a token that they can then exchange for another item of their choice. Everything that enters the Swap Station and is not chosen by anyone by the end of the event will be donated.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 29th, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Diligencias site.
