Tras el terremoto de 7.8 de magnitud que sacudió a Turquía y Siria y que dejó a miles de personas sin vida y lesionadas; varios países, incluido México, han enviado ayuda humanitaria y equipos de rescate a la zona afectada. Apelamos a toda la comunidad, que siempre ha mostrado su solidaridad, a sumarse a la ayuda urgente a Turquía y Siria.
Frente a la Recepción del plantel Diligencias, habilitamos un centro de acopio. El límite para recibir donaciones es el miércoles 15 de marzo, ya que el jueves 16 se enviará todo a la embajada.
Los insumos que necesita la población son:
- Ropa de invierno para adultos y niños, Abrigos, Impermeables, Botas, Vestidos, Pantalones, Guantes, Bufandas, Gorros, Calcetines y Ropa interior
- Carpas
- Colchones para tiendas de campaña
- Frazadas
- Sacos de dormir
- Estufas catalíticas o calentadores
- Tanques de gas
- Termos
- Linternas
- Bancos de energía y generadores
- Alimentos enlatados y no perecederos
- Comida infantil
- Productos de higiene y limpieza
- Pañales
- Toallas sanitarias

Dear Lancaster Community,
In response to the earthquake of a magnitude of 7.8 that hit Turkey and Syria and left thousands of people dead or injured, various countries including Mexico, have sent humanitarian help and rescue teams to the affected area. We are calling on the whole community, which has always shown solidarity, to join in to provide urgent help to Turkey and Syria.
A collection centre is set up next to the Reception in Diligencias. The limit to receive donations is Wednesday 15 of march, since everything will be sent to the embassy on Thursday the 16th.
Here is a list of goods that are needed by the population :
- Winter clothes for adults and children, including coats, waterproof jackets, boots, dresses, trousers, gloves, scarfs, hats, socks and underwear.
- Tents
- Mattresses for shelter tents
- Blankets
- Sleeping bags
- Gas or electric heaters
- Gas tanks
- Hot water bottles
- Torches
- Power units
- Canned food that is not out of date
- Baby food
- Cleaning products
- Nappies
- Sanitary towels
– Please do not donate baby formula milk or feeding bottles.
