SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

The School’s Mission

The Lancaster School is a bi-cultural school which, by combining characteristics of both Mexican and British educational styles in a single programme of study leading to certification in both systems, taught by teachers from both countries, aims to form thinking, sensitive, self-reliant individuals who, as a result of constant exposure to a mixture of cultural stimuli, have an appreciation and awareness of cultural differences and an ability to adapt to and benefit from cultural change and diversity.

Aims

Within its role of contributing to the formation of a more just society, condeming discrimination on racial, cultural, religious, political and social grounds, and recognising the human rights of all individuals and peoples, the Lancaster School places prime importance on responsibility, respect, honesty, tolerance, co-operation and loyalty and seeks to allow pupils the opportunity to develop their intellectual, social, artistic and physical abilities to the full, for the benefit of all.
