My full name is Elizabeth but I am better known as Beth, I love children and I’ve been teaching at school since 2005. I’m a Psychologist and recently passed the Lic. In Preeschool Education , I’m an ex-alumni from the 1988 generation and as well a parent. I’m very happy to be back at school. I am head of Unicorn house.

I was born in Schenectady, NY in Jan. 1973. I was raised in Mexico City from age 5. I studied at the Colegio Madrid AC and did my Teacher's Degree at the Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura. I studied my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the UNAM. I have been an English teacher since age 18.

What we are learning:

Our current programme of inquiry is “Caring for things”. We will be looking into caring for the environment and living things. In this idea we will include our school, homes and the world as a whole, particularly what we can do to care for things. Our central idea is “Plants, animals and resources in our homes and at school require care and respect in order for them to fulfil their function”. We are focusing on responsibility.

What we have been learning:

Our K2 kids have explored their creativity in many different ways, using different materials and methods, and they realized that things can be used (and recycled) in many ways. They have become more creative in their play and in their artistic expressions.
