Kinder 1 Blue Teacher Cynthia I have been teaching at preschool for 5 years and it has been an extraordinary experience. Working with kids of these age is always a challenge but it pays you whit a great amount of love and care. I truly believe that the best way of learning is through playing,movement, music, arts, games in a caring enviroment ensures kid´s understanding of the world they live in.	Kinder 1 Yellow Teacher Tere My name is María Teresa Ruiz and this is my second year in K1. I love working with this age group. I learn from them in everyday experiences, they are fun to be with. It’s amazing to see the way they mature throughout the school year.	What we are learning: This month we will be starting our new unit of inquiry. Who we express ourselves. EXPRESS YOURSELF Central Idea: Ideas and feelings can be expressed in many ways. Lines of inquiry: -Understanding our own and others feelings. -Responding to feelings. -Different ways I can express how I feel. Maths: -We are working with numbers 1 to 6. -We can identify them and we are working to achieve their concept knowledge. -We are working with rectangle and square so we can continue building our shape knowledge. -We have also been working with big and small! -We will be working with brown. We will also review blue, red, yellow, green, orange and purple!
