He sido profesora desde hace 5 años, pero este es mi primer año en la Escuela de Lancaster.

He trabajado en diferentes grados.

También imparto clases extracurriculares  llamadas Eco Club y soy coordinadora de el  Área de Ecología.

This is my first year teaching at Lancaster and my fourth year working as a teacher. I am from England and most recently have been living in Canterbury in the south of England. I have also travelled and lived in different countries including Brazil, Australia and the USA. This is my second time in Mexico. In 1998-1999 I taught English in a primary school in Sonora. I am looking forward to working at Lancaster and living in Mexico again.

What we have been learning:

Hemos aprendido sobre la forma de organizarnos en las ciudades capitales, como el DF, Londres y Berlin.

Tambien aprendimos sobre sus caracteristicas  por ejemplo tienen aeropuerto, monumentos importantes y una gran población. Todos los paises tienen una ciudad capital, la cual es la sede del gobierno.

I joined Lancaster School in 2005 and enjoyed a year of teaching Grade 5.  I currently teach ESL in Grades 3 and 4 as well as giving Maths support in Grade 3 to 5.  During my ESL time, the children consolidate their grammatical, spelling and comprehension skills.  We use a range of material including the Selections programme.  I also teach Art to all Primary Grades.

What we are learning:

Our current Unit of Inquiry is called “Grow for It”. We will be studying plants including looking at the life cycles of plants, how plants reproduce and what plants need to be healthy including how plants make their food and respire.

We will also be considering the responsibility that we have to look after plants and help them to stay healthy and reproduce.
