Grade 2 English Teacher Sophie I have been teaching at Lancaster since August 2001, and have enjoyed my time here immensely. I am responsible for co-ordinating Science, which has now been totally integrated into our PYP programme. I am also the house co-ordinator, which involves helping out the Heads of House and making sure the rabbits get fed!  I have now been in Mexico for nearly 8 years and plan to stay for a few more, especially as I now have a Mexican son called Tomas

What we have been learning: Después de haber terminado con mucho éxito la unidad de indagación los Colores comenzaremos una nueva unidad llamada Cuerpo Saludable, en ella aprenderemos a cuidar nuestro cuerpo para mantenerlo saludable recurriendo a diversas estrategias de vida diaria. During this investigation, we will be looking at how to maintain a healthy body. The children will be thinking about good habits and learning about different parts of the body. In English, we are currently learning how to write a good set of instructions. In Maths, we are revising topics previously covered before Christmas and will be moving on to telling the time.
