Overall Expectations

Students will show a developed understanding and the ability to use a wide range of media, materials and tools with appropriate care.

They will work on pieces both individually and in small groups showing an increased ability to concentrate on and complete a piece of artwork.

They will continue to be encouraged to express their ideas, feelings and observations in relation to their own work and the work of other student.

They will continue to demonstrate their ability to chose suitable materials for a specific given task.

Students will increase their levels of technical ability using a range of different media and methods both in 2-D images and 3-D artefacts.

They will be exposed to various artists work as a source of inspiration and will be encouraged to reflect and discuss their preferences using reasoned arguments.
