The ICT Curriculum is planned to give the students opportunities to apply and develop their ICT capability to support their learning in all subjects, this policy covers all pupils, from Reception to 5th grade.
The Curriculum for ICT is designed to give teachers a guide of objectives and topics they should cover with the purpose that children develop their computing abilities.
Activities can be prepared in advance in the classroom, or together with the computer teacher ready for when pupils come to work in the library.
We are able to project a computer screen for all pupils to see which aids demonstration of new techniques. All classrooms are equipped with a computer where pupils can continue and extend their work further.
The ICT Curriculum is designed to support all subjects in the curriculum and in particular research aspects of the PYP programmes of investigation.

In Kinder, children have the opportunity to access a computer in the classroom. They receive assisted sessions in the classroom one hour a week, as well as being guided by their teachers. They are encouraged to explore a variety of programs and sources. They use ICT to work with text, images and sound, to help them share their ideas. Pupils from KII attend ICT in the library. From Pre First to 2nd Grade Pupils use ICT to organize and classify information and to present findings. They enter, save and retrieve work. They use ICT to help them generate, amend and record their work and share their ideas in different forms, including text, tables, images and sound. From 3rd to 5th Grade Pupils use ICT to save information and to find and use appropriate stored information, following straightforward lines of enquiry. They use ICT to generate, develop, organize and present their work. They share and exchange their ideas with others. They make appropriate choices when using ICT based models or simulations to help them find things out and solve problems. They describe their use of ICT and its use outside school.
